Beginners’ Courses

Courses usually consist of 3 to 6 two-hour sessions at our outdoor range at Creigiau, or indoors at our range in Rhydyfelin. All courses are conducted by accredited Archery GB coaches. The fee for the course is £60 per person, with a reduction for additional family members. All of the equipment required for the course will be provided by the club.

On completion of the course participants will be presented with a certificate which is recognised by all Archery GB affiliated clubs, and those choosing to join Cambria Archers to pursue the sport are able to continue to use club loan equipment until such time as their individual needs and preferences have emerged. This usually takes around six months, and until that time we strongly discourage archers from purchasing their own bows or arrows.
